They need orange juice every day. This circa 1940 poster from the Great Britain Ministry of Health and Ministry of Food shows a toddler drinking orange juice. The poster was issued during WWII to remind parents that orange juice was available for young children.

 

"The concentrated juice of 12 fresh oranges. For children holding green ration books (RB2), and expectant mothers. Free to those getting free milk or 5d per bottle. Ask at the welfare centre or food office."
